Athletics have always played a big role in my life. Ever since I was little my parents had me playing softball and field hockey. I never thought twice about how important proper nutrition or certain exercises were to enhancing my performance on and off the field. I always strived to be better, but struggled with weight management. I continued to play softball my first two years of college until I transferred to Liberty University. I knew I wanted to help others “be better” not only at moving their bodies, but learning what is needed to get our bodies moving, so I studied exercise science. I want to give people what I wish I had known when I was an athlete. As everyone wishes they could go back in time and change things, there's nothing like starting with where you’re at to “be better” whether it’s for a sport, family, or a healthier lifestyle, moving your body and moving it well is important to everyone’s day to day life. As I have learned in my undergraduate studies moving your body with the proper mechanics has many benefits that can increase both physical and mental health. Everyone’s goals, bodies and lifestyles are different but my goal for everyone is the same - to create a training program that accommodates you to living your best healthiest life for all aspects of your day to day lifestyle. I love encouraging others and being there when someone needs that extra push.
